THE FILM "TAGHIYEV"

The feature film “Taghiyev” depicts the remarkable life and philanthropic legacy of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, while simultaneously reflecting the social, political, and cultural realities of the era in which he lived. Filming took place over an eight-month period across 76 different locations, with more than 300 custom-built sets created for the project. To authentically recreate the historical period, hundreds of props and costumes were specially designed and produced. From the initial concept to its first screening, over 2,500 professionals contributed to the production, resulting in a large-scale cinematic work with rich narrative depth and international production standards.
